Who We Are
Southside Maritime & Offshore Institute (SSMOI) is a premier institution dedicated to providing internationally recognised maritime education and certification. With a commitment to safety, quality, and innovation, we prepare seafarers for the challenges of the modern maritime industry.
Southside Maritime & Offshore Institute (SSMOI) was established in March,2025 and incorporated on the 11th November, 2025 under Company and Allied Matters Act 1990 by CAC and approved by the Nigerian Maritime Administration And Safety Agency (NIMASA) and Nigerian Merchant Navy.
Our courses are fully compliant with STCW, IMO, and NIMASA standards. We combine theoretical knowledge with hands‑on practical training using state‑of‑the‑art simulators.
